The Jewels of Love

A proposal from a man to a woman that she truly love may be the most unforgettable moment that can happen to a woman. Though love may be very common to two people finding a relationship, but, it is not every day that a person gets to be engaged. The moment of truth between two people in love and getting to the next level of their relationship. A road leading to a marriage. But, before it can happen, it is only proper that the girl gets the engagement ring that she deserves.

A man would probably do anything to give his woman an engagement ring that would be the envy of many and would remind them of their undying love. Always keep in mind though that engagement ring often cost an arm and a leg especially if they have diamonds and other precious stones. Thus, it is important to buy something that would fit every budget. But that's only one factor to consider in buying an engagement ring.

Diamond cut and shape

It would be a waste if it turns out that the woman doesn't like her engagement ring. To prevent that from happening, it's better to buy something that would go with her personality. Furthermore, go over the jewelries that she owns to get an idea of what type she likes. Better yet, get one of her rings and bring it to the jewelry store. That way you can also get her ring size. Buying from the right jewelry stores should also be considered. They should be able to help you with all the information you need. Be sure to do your research first.

Is it practical to buy a super glamorous ring? If the woman is someone who likes sports and being outdoors, then it's better to buy something that would stand the rigors of daily activity. A low gemstone setting fits an active woman. When it comes to stones, diamonds are the usual choice. As the saying goes "diamonds are a girl's best friend". Choose a diamond according to carat, color, clarity, and cut. The carat or weight will depend on your budget but they're usually 1 carat. Diamonds are of different colors but most women prefer white. Diamond clarity
pertains to the diamond's brilliance or sparkle. Fewer imperfections mean greater clarity. Also to be considered is the diamond's cut. Choose from round, square, princess, emerald, marquise, cushion, and heart shaped cuts.

  4. For me, it's not that important. I have nothing against men buying their women very expensive cuts of diamonds to wear around their fingers. All respect to them. For as long as it's from my boyfriend, I'll treasure it, diamond or not. :)
